Our Story

It is a vibrant property and the teams behind it are equally passionate and dedicated to the hotel and guests who frequent it.
Jim & Mary Long are the proprietors, who purchased the property in 2014 and lovingly restored it and redeveloped it for its opening in December 2017. They are both from West Limerick but reside in London and have always maintained their strong connections to the area and frequent visitors to the hotel and their extended family and friends.
Husband & Wife Mario and Ela Puchowski are running the hotel in their roles as General Manager and Operations Manager. This dynamic team made Newcastle West their home many years ago and have raised their children here. Their love of hospitality is infectious, and they have created a real family atmosphere within Longcourt House Hotel which has developed into a strong team ethos throughout the property.
When you visit Longcourt House Hotel it is a building that is bustling with life and vibrancy, the colours that dance throughout the hotel are strong and joyous and that is the atmosphere which is so apparent on entering the hotel.
